World Peace Pilgrimage 2026

We are thrilled to announce that on June 20th there will be a World Peace Pilgrimage to a holy mountain on the picturesque Devon coast.

The Service at the summit of Holdstone Down will start at 1pm.

TRANSPORT

We will have a coach leaving from London Victoria Coach Station in the morning and returning the same day (£45). The coach will leave at 6:15am and will return to London at approximately 11pm. See full itinerary. 

Alternatively, if you are making your own way to Combe Martin (the nearest village to Holdstone Down), we will also have a coach taking people from Combe Martin to Holdstone Down and back after the pilgrimage (£12.50). The coach will depart Combe Martin at 11:45am and will return to Combe Martin after the pilgrimage at around 3pm and after the social at around 6pm. See full itinerary. 

SOCIAL

All pilgrims are invited to a lively social from 3pm at The Sawmills in Berrynarbor – approximating 15 minutes’ drive from Holdstone Down.

Come along to meet like-minded souls, chat with kindred spirits, make new spiritual friends, and dance the afternoon away to the eclectic sound of Blair and the Bullets – a popular band in the South West! 

If you’d like to eat at The Sawmills, you need to pre-order. There is a two-course option for £35, and a three-course option for £45. You do not need to pre-order drinks. Spaces are limited – please book early to avoid disappointment. There will be a link to book your meal for the social in the Eventbrite confirmation email which you will receive when you have booked to attend the pilgrimage. You are welcome to attend the social without booking but there will be no food available.

SECOND PILGRIMAGE – THE FOLLOWING MORNING

There will be a second pilgrimage to Holdstone Down the following morning – the day of the Summer Solstice – Sunday, June 21st – dedicated to the Mother Earth and the Mighty Sun.

IMPORTANT NOTES ABOUT PILGRIMAGES TO HOLY MOUNTAINS:

Mountains are potentially very dangerous places. We recommend that if you have a demanding journey, you arrive the day prior to a Pilgrimage at suitable local accommodation so as to have a good night’s rest before climbing the mountain on the following day. We strongly suggest having a good breakfast and drinking plenty of fluids before climbing. You should be well prepared for sudden changes in the weather – wear mountain boots, and carry both warm and waterproof clothing. Suitable headgear, sunblock, insect repellent, energy bars and water are all basic essentials but requirements will vary depending on the mountain and weather conditions. Always make sure you inform someone of your plans and the time you are expecting to return.

You should not attempt a mountain climb that exceeds your level of fitness or health. If you are unable to climb to the charged spot on a particular mountain you can still do a tremendous amount of good from whatever point you reach.

All pilgrims should inform us in advance which holy mountain(s) they plan to climb. Please note that all pilgrims take part in these Pilgrimages at their own risk.
