Pilgrimage Dedicated To The Mother Earth and The Mighty Sun 2026

We are thrilled to announce that on Sunday, June 21st, there will be a pilgrimage to a holy mountain on the picturesque Devon coast dedicated to the Mother Earth and the Mighty Sun on the day of the Summer Solstice. The Service at the summit of Holdstone Down will start at 11am.

This follows our World Peace Pilgrimage which is taking place the day before.

SOCIAL AND BUFFET LUNCH

All pilgrims are invited to a social and buffet lunch at The Sandy Cove Hotel in Berrynarbor from 1:30pm – approximately 15 minutes’ drive from Holdstone Down.

Come along to meet like-minded souls, chat with kindred spirits, and make new spiritual friends at a beautiful venue with stunning views!

IMPORTANT NOTES ABOUT PILGRIMAGES TO HOLY MOUNTAINS:

Mountains are potentially very dangerous places. We recommend that if you have a demanding journey, you arrive the day prior to a Pilgrimage at suitable local accommodation so as to have a good night’s rest before climbing the mountain on the following day. We strongly suggest having a good breakfast and drinking plenty of fluids before climbing. You should be well prepared for sudden changes in the weather – wear mountain boots, and carry both warm and waterproof clothing. Suitable headgear, sunblock, insect repellent, energy bars and water are all basic essentials but requirements will vary depending on the mountain and weather conditions. Always make sure you inform someone of your plans and the time you are expecting to return.

You should not attempt a mountain climb that exceeds your level of fitness or health. If you are unable to climb to the charged spot on a particular mountain you can still do a tremendous amount of good from whatever point you reach.

All pilgrims should inform us in advance which holy mountain(s) they plan to climb. Please note that all pilgrims take part in these Pilgrimages at their own risk.
