Both claim to be in contact with beings from outside of our galaxy and to me they seem fully legit. Both live and work for the greater good of humanity, have great wisdom and insights to share and just are … special. “Weird” is what John Doe would call them. 😉
Hi Jana! Thanks for asking.
Rather than comment on specific people, I can give you some basic rules of thumb that I use personally and which you could apply too, if you wish, no matter who you come across.
Let me preface this by saying that of course it is possible to be working for humanity, have great wisdom and insights (if that’s what it is), and be receiving and conveying helpful teaching but also NOT be in touch with extraterrestrials even as people may believe they are. From what I can tell, it seems like a very easy mistake for a channel to make… So people could be wonderful and genuine, but still not be in contact with who they think they are (putting any frauds aside for the moment).

No communication with any extraterrestrial is possible in a negative trance state, i.e. where the medium blanks their mind and allows themselves to be taken over by an entity. If anyone is using trance, then communication is possible only in samadhi.

No ongoing programme of communication with any extraterrestrial is possible unless one can raise the mystical power of kundalini to a high chakra and attain mental rapport with said communicator – whether that is trance or telepathy.

The beings in this Solar System do not need or even want intervention from outside of this System (let alone outside the Galaxy), according to what they have said through Dr. George King. They are already actively involved, to the fullest extent possible allowed by karma, in working to bring enlightenment to Earth in various ways. Hence, I believe that any genuine contact would have to come from within this Solar System.

The only bona fide contact that we know about from a source outside of this Solar System came with the full sanction and authority of the Master Aetherius and Interplanetary Parliament. In other words, anyone communicating with Earth from outside of this System would need to cooperate with the protocol that has been established for contact with Earth. This has been set out by the Master Aetherius in various messages published in Cosmic Voice (the journal of The Aetherius Society) and elsewhere.

There is a reason extraterrestrials from civilizations around the Galaxy have been coming here – it is because of the Alien Mission, the Six Adepts, Operation Sunbeam, the Initiation of the Solar System, the Primary Initiation of Earth, etc – all important aspects of our history, from a cosmic perspective, which these other races do know about and wish to understand better. Hence their coming.

The reason you don’t HEAR about any of these things in any purported extraterrestrial communication, or hear of any mention of Interplanetary Parliament, is, in my view, because said communications are not coming from extraterrestrials. They are coming from lower astral entities deliberately intent on spreading misinformation, or from a less evolved entity on another, higher realm, who a channel has mistaken for an extraterrestrial and who does not know about them. Or it could even be coming from their own imagination. I have met many people who claim to channel all types of beings. My definite conclusion is that most can’t tell the difference between their imagination, their higher self and an outside source; and if it is an outside source, what that source is. The most honest ones admit this. I have also concluded that most have no real understanding about how mediumship actually works. Listening to Dr. George King and Richard Lawrence talk about mediumship has been very eye opening for me.

Finally, let us consider that these advanced extraterrestrials that we are talking about are like Gods in comparison to us, capable of feats beyond our wildest imagining. People generally grossly underestimate the evolutionary status of who they claim to be in contact with and don’t appreciate that it is technically impossible to receive a communication without being extremely advanced oneself, and that in many cases it would be completely impossible for any Earth person at all to receive such a contact because their brain would be “fried”. In the end, false claims only diminish these beings, reflecting our own ignorance of the truth.

There are people who are in touch with advanced beings from the higher mental realms of Earth but even these are few and far between – because of the need to raise one’s consciousness to attain a rapport, though not as high as one would need to for an extraterrestrial contact. And there are good teachings that have come from said sources throughout the ages. So in the best case of contact people may have confused a higher realm entity for an extraterrestrial. In a worse case, they may have confused a rather ordinary entity for an extraterrestrial, and in the worst case it is actually a lower astral entity of one level of sophistication or another; the worst of which will sound very credible on the face of it.

One may ask, well, what’s so bad about mistaking the identity of a being who appears to be giving good teaching? In my view: distraction from the true contacts, in which are definitely laid out a) a genuine programme of practical and profound teaching that tells us what we actually need to do to attain enlightenment, ascension etc and b) a genuine programme of action in direct cooperation with extraterrestrials, which, if more people were involved, would go a long way to completely changing our world for the better and even allow further direct intervention by them.
The genuine teachings are grounded in the ancient teachings that have been passed down from time immemorial, and which have been given to Earth throughout the ages by teachers like the Master Jesus, the Lord Buddha, Sri Patanjali, Sri Krishna, the Lord Rama, etc. What has changed is the uncompromising focus on service to others as the necessity of this age.

Separate thought: I checked out a very popular podcast recently in which the host had on a medium who claimed to be bringing through the Lord Babaji (as if he was just waiting by the phone…). This entity came through laughing and cackling like a Hyena and delivered a message of absolutely zero import or consequence. I was shocked anyone (especially the host, who claims to be a devotee of Yogananda) thought it was actually the Lord Babaji.
