World Peace Pilgrimage to Mt. Baldy, Southern California

You are warmly invited to join us on Saturday, September 19, for our next spiritually uplifting pilgrimage to Mt. Baldy, Southern California’s holy mountain.

It’s a refreshing mini-retreat right in LA’s back yard. Below are all the essential details, including how to secure discounted ski lift tickets.

Experience the sacred atmosphere of this remarkable mountain. Allow it to inspire and elevate your consciousness, and deepen your communion with Mother Earth and the Divine living cosmos.

Attune with its powerful energies and direct them outward in the name of world peace through prayer, mantra and visualization.

What’s involved

We’ll meet at 9:30 a.m. at the Mt. Baldy ticket office by the main parking lot (8401 Mt. Baldy Rd – view map(opens in new tab)). From there we’ll take the scenic 20-minute ski lift ride up to the Top of the Notch, then enjoy a 10-minute walk to our service location.

Regular attenders please note: although we normally have two or three locations on the mountain, this time we will have everyone together on the lower level.

We will recite The Twelve Blessings(opens in new tab) together and send spiritual power for world peace. There will also be time for quiet contemplation and personal connection with the mountain’s energies. Printed texts will be provided if you’re new to The Twelve Blessings.

The pilgrimage will conclude around 1 p.m. at which point you can have lunch at the Top of the Notch restaurant or head back down at your leisure.

We may be able to help arrange carpools from the American Headquarters in Hollywood. Rides are based on availability and not guaranteed. Requests can be made when you register.

Remember

• Even with good weather it may still be cool on the mountain so dress appropriately (check the weather report(opens in new tab)).
• There is virtually no mobile phone coverage on Mt. Baldy, including the parking lot.
