What got you into spirituality?
I think we can all agree that the traditional image we’re given for a successful, happy life just doesn’t fit with the spiritually-minded person.
It just isn’t enough.
Sooner or later, the desire for truth and the urge to make a difference inspire us to look deeper into what life is really about.

Thanks Richard and Darren, at a similar age to your experience Richard I had been an active youth but then quite suddenly it was though someone was tapping me on my shoulder and saying hang on you are not going anywhere from a spiritual point of view and suddenly things did change. Saying this I had attended Christian Methodist churches and got some grounding from this.
The change in circumstances was not easy to adapt to but enabled me I know to be able to reflect more/ delve into the deeper truths / recognise them when I came across them and to generally see below the surface of materialism . This I believed led me to being able to recognise the Truths given through the Aetherius Society which I then came into contact with about a couple of years later, truths which maybe without this experience maybe i would not have appreciated or especially at that time. When the student is ready the Master appears.

Materialism is just not enough for anyone with a yearning for truth – we can all get caught up in it for a while, but sooner or later that voice within becomes louder and louder and louder and change must come. I had very difficul life growing up with family 3 brother beat me up all the time, alot jealousy going on, when i got married, my first husband and first daughter got murder, i move to usa and remarried to my second husband, was domestic violence, i was fearful, had no support, later he got murder by his new wife family, after that i had many questions about purposes of life, i ask for God, the hugging Saint from india show up my guru,, Yogananda book was released and I got my habd on it, my life had changed and never be the same, after that met Judge in Mt Shasta and involved with Global service 12 blessings until today, Many thanks and blessings to both for keep sharing, I will never go back, will continue to do love and serve until I drop my body, I am always hungry for more,last year I spent few day at Franklin hotspring in Central coast I look up and saw 1/2 of a circular ufo disk in the cloud, I was super greatful made me cried in the pool. I couldn’t share with no one, it’s happened so fast and disappeared in the clouds, 2015 I saw a small one after rain also in the cloud , was amazing, I feel very blessed in this life time.

It sounds like you’ve been through many trials in this life, but in the end you found truth – the most advanced teachings on Earth – and have devoted yourself to living in the light of them.
