#83 – Making the ultimate sacrifice

Episode 83

Real love – what is it?

It is certainly not the sickly sentimentality or brutish possessiveness that are erroneously often called “love”.

In The Nine Freedoms Mars Sector 6 describes love as something vastly more than either of those things: sacrifice.

This week Mark Bennett talks about what this means, and even shares a thought about what the ultimate sacrifice might be…!

Join international bestselling author Richard Lawrence and guests to discover the wisdom of The Nine Freedoms. Richard has appeared on hundreds of radio shows around the world and is the author of 11 books including Contacts With The Gods From Space and Realize Your Inner Potential, both of which he co-authored with Master of Yoga Dr. George King – his spiritual master.

Great show as usual. It was good to meet you and your wife at the LA Atherius Temple. You both gave an excellent service! Looking forward to the audio book. Mark is amazing in how he can see the forest and the trees! I quoted him from his other great work on the word great. “This really does brilliantly take it out of the realms of the mundane. How overused is the word “great” in English?” All we need to do is replace the word great with the word Love. The word Love has became almost a throw away word. It is overused in almost all walks of life. This podcast has me thinking how Service and Love are intertwined. You can’t have one without the other. Again thank you Richard, Darren, and Mark for thoughtful and insightful podcast. I will be pondering this one for a while.
