17 DAYS OF SPIRITUAL WISDOM

#48 – All spiritual experience leads to Ascension

All spiritual experience leads to Ascension

Ascension is mastery over all experience on Earth.

Reaching Ascension is the pinnacle of human achievement. It takes many lives of conscious, sustained effort – and yet it is the destiny of every single one of us.

The key is experience. Experience gives us the opportunity to learn and grow into better, wiser people; to overcome our challenges and demonstrate our mastery.

In this week’s episode: In the past, the road to Ascension was about going within. Today the keynote is service to others. What does this change mean for us in our everyday lives?

Another great show as always. Excellent work.

Will I have gained ascension if I get to Shamballa ?

The sacred texts of the Tibetans speak of Shamballa. The texts add that a long and mystical journey across a wilderness of deserts and mountains leads to Shamballa. Whoever manages to reach this distant sanctuary, having overcome numerous hardships and obstacles along the way, will find there a secret teaching that will enable him to master time and liberate himself from its bondage. The texts warn, however, that only those who are called and have the necessary spiritual preparation will be able to get to Shamballa; others will find only blinding storms and empty mountains – or even death.

By coincidence, I am told that it was on January 1, 1956, that Sanat Kumara placed his mantle on Lord Gautama,Today, Gautama Buddha sustains the tie to the threefold flames of all mankind. The altar of the threefold flame is in the main temple in Shamballa. Do you believe that through it Lord Gautama connects a ray from his heart to every lifestream evolving on the planet ? However this retreat, once physical, has since been withdrawn to the etheric octave, or heaven-world. This implies that every lifestream evolving on terra is connected directly to the heaven world ?

Thank you for tuning in to the show! And for your questions and comments.
In The Aetherius Society we do believe that Shamballa is physical – existing at a higher frequency, or octave, of manifestation above what is physically known on our planet as the Gobi desert It is a space craft that was built before the coming of the Sanat Kumara more than 18 million years ago. I should think that it is no easy feat to gain entry to Shamballa – at a minimum you would presumably need to be able to consciously project your consciousness from the physical body to the other realms, which is a very advanced psychic feat.

I’ve not heard before of the threefold flame you are referring to there, but it is true that the Lord Buddha did take over in influence when the Sanat Kumara left. It is also true that the Lord Buddha is impregnating the Earth now with a Buddhic influence, which will manifest itself as meditative and contemplative practices, and also the results from these. The specifics of how this achieved I do not know exactly, but that is the essence of it.

One aspect of this that I find very interesting is how complementary the Buddhic influence and the Christ influence are. Dr. King says that these two paths are in essence the same, and the difference is a matter of expression only. He talked about the complete balance between the two: the service and love expressed by the true Christianity, and the contemplative practice expressed by the true Buddhism.

      Best,
      Darren
