Thanks, Richard, for this latest podcast. For me, it is special because I studied the Bible as one of my GCE O’Level subjects many years ago. The Book of Revelation was part of the syllabus. Your revelation of John of Patmos as the author of this book is very reassuring to me, especially as it came from the author himself, having had the contents narrated to him by an angel.
One question I want clarified is this: where was John when this message was narrated to him? I have heard that John was on Shamballa when he received it. Can you confirm this?

Once again, thank you and Darren for these gems of truth you give us every week. Lots of blessings

Hi Moses, thanks for sharing more about your own interest and background relating to the Book of Revelation. According to the message received from John of Patmos by Richard, John was on the island of Patmos when he received the message from the Prophet Amos. You can read it in full here on Richard’s website: https://www.richardlawrence.co.uk/john-of-patmos.html Blessings, Darren

I should also add, Moses: According to the Dr. King, John of Patmos did go to Shambala. Though we assume that that would have been out of body. What Richard was talking about specifically was the message that John received from an angel of the Lord while he was on Patmos – just part of what was relayed in the Book of Revelation, which Book included, among other things, visions John had and, as John describes: “additions” made by other scribes, which may have included the works of earlier Prophets, such as Daniel. It is also worth remembering that the Bible has been through many alterations, deliberately or otherwise, over the centuries. Best, Darren

Interesting. “ Father” John, if I got this right, is a Bishop of the Aetherius Society on the Higher Realms.

Speaking of Bishops in the Aetherius Society,
has Richard been contacted by any Bishops who have passed on, such as the Right Reverend Lady Monique King?

    • Darren Ball on April 20, 2026 at 10:33 am

Hi Timothy, thanks for writing. Richard is very cautious about making statements of this nature which relate directly to The Aetherius Society, because he does not wish to cause any confusion in this regard. Although Richard does believe that John of Patmos is a Bishop in The Aetherius Churches, he does not expect anyone to take his word for it. Richard has certainly interconnected with other Bishops since their passing and indeed others may have at least felt their presence as well. In terms of Lady Monique, who was consecrated as a Bishop at the same time as Richard, and a very close personal friend of Richard’s, he feels that she is going from strength to strength and is highly respected as our Master’s wife, as you might expect..! Best, Darren
