Membership
The Aetherius Society is a Spiritual Order, which was brought into being not by man, but through man by The Cosmic Masters Themselves! It is an organization devoted to Spiritual action and the spreading of the Cosmic Teachings with which it has been entrusted.
Membership is a major Initiatory step.
Members of The Aetherius Society feel very privileged to be part of this Spiritual organization and to be able to give Service to humanity in the many practical ways made possible by our Dr. George King, who lived from 1919 to 1997.
To become a Member is a major initiatory step in a person's path of Spiritual development. Such a step opens the way for the karmic opportunities and initiations, which are available to members.

We invite all Spiritually minded individuals who wish to support the aims and objects of The Aetherius Society and cooperate with our world-uplifting activities, to apply for Membership.
We have two categories of Membership and a subscription category of "Friend" which are detailed below.

Friend of The Aetherius Society
Over the years, many people have adopted our Teachings as a way of life. They have discovered a world of Spiritual excitement - abilities they never knew they had, undreamed of ways to help other people and the world as a whole, and a more fulfilling life. To become a Friend is a first investigative step forward.
Friends of The Aetherius Society are able to avail themselves of the materials of The Aetherius Society containing a wealth of knowledge and guidance for giving service to our world and for personal spiritual advancement. Certain discounts are available for Friends at our meetings, seminars, personal development courses, as well as special introductory offers on publications. Information about our activities is mailed out on a regular basis.
A Friend does not have any obligation to cooperate with annual Commemorations, although Friends are welcome at most of our activities.
The annual subscription fee for Friends, which includes receiving our monthly E-Newsletter with the latest news and activities of The Aetherius Society around the world, is as follows: in America and Canada is $10.00; in the UK is £5.00 and in countries outside of UK, America and Canada is $10.00. Friends of The Aetherius Society can also qualify to subscribe to our quarterly colour journal, Cosmic Voice, which contains articles and features about the work of The Aetherius Society. This is an additional annual subscription fee as follows: in America and Canada is $20.00; in the UK is £15.00 and in countries outside of UK, America and Canada is $30.00.

Full Membership
Full Membership entails a definite level of commitment to the Society and its global mission of world peace and enlightenment. All Full Members observe annually July The Eighth, the Holiest Day of the year, and all other 13 official Commemoration Dates listed in the Calendar of The Aetherius Society.
Our Full Members also support The Aetherius Society, when possible, by regular participation in Divine Services, Twelve Blessings Services, Special Power Circles, attendance at lectures, seminars, classes, workshops, etc. During all official functions a link is created between the attenders on the physical plane and the attendees of the Temple of The Aetherius Society on the higher mental planes. Members also often hold their own Services at home to send out much needed Spiritual energy and healing to the world.
The Membership year runs from July 8th to July 7th the following year. Membership is renewable on July 8th each year and the fee is $60 per year in America and £45 in the United Kingdom. (For countries outside of America and the UK please contact the European Headquarters membership@aetherius.co.uk for pricing.) We consider July The Eighth as the Holiest Day in our calendar and the beginning of our Spiritual New Year, known as an Earthyear. The applicant for Membership should be familiar with some of the teachings of The Aetherius Society; as a minimum requirement the applicant is expected to have read the books The Nine Freedoms, The Twelve Blessings and have listened to lectures by Dr George King available on CDs and cassettes, including the lecture The Cosmic Plan. Attendance at some of our regular activities such as The Twelve Blessings Services and other Services is also recommended.
Annual Questionnaire
At the end of each Earthyear, Full Members are asked to detail their cooperation with The Aetherius Society activities throughout the year on a questionnaire, such as observance of Commemoration Dates, First and Last Hour of a Spiritual Push, regular Twelve Blessings Services performed in their homes each week, etc. Through this we can make sure that your Spiritual work for our great cause is recognized in an appropriate manner. Based on this information, future awards and Initiations will be assessed.
Certificates Of Merit
There are three basic categories of Certificates of Merit, which can be obtained after three years of Full Membership. These are awarded for regular participation in official activities, for financial support, and for direct help in the work of The Aetherius Society. As soon as two such Certificates have been earned, the Member can apply to sit for their Temple Degree examination.
Temple Degree Initiation
The Temple Degree examination is based on the knowledge and understanding a member has of the Teachings of The Aetherius Society. The publication Temple Degree Study Courses contains all the questions and answers which the student is required to know in order to pass the examination, after which they may be initiated into the Temple Order of The Aetherius Society.
As a Temple Degree Initiate, the Spiritual aspirant will be entitled to wear a Robe of Initiation, the color of which depicts his degree within the Temple Order, as well as attend special seminars of classified Cosmic Transmissions not otherwise available to Full or Associate Members.
Full Members of The Aetherius Society benefit from a unique Service when they pass on to the other realms. Our Spiritual Master, His Eminence Sir George King, arranged for Full Members who have passed over to be met by entities of a high caliber who will help them personally during the transition period.
All Members, whether Full or Associate, come under the Spiritual protection of the Group Soul of The Aetherius Society - an organization of tremendous karmic potency because of the great good it performs for the salvation and enlightenment of humanity. The largest and most potent part of the Group Soul is active on the Higher Mental Realms of Earth.
In addition to the privileges of being a Full or Associate Member, you also receive as part of your membership, subscription to Cosmic Voice, the official quarterly journal of The Aetherius Society, together with other mailouts of our activities and announcements.
Associate Membership
Associate Membership is designed for those who support the Society's aims and work but are unable to participate in an active role, and therefore does not provide all the benefits of Full Membership. The annual fee of $60.00 includes subscription to our quarterly journal, Cosmic Voice.
The applicant for Associate Membership should be familiar with some of the teachings of The Aetherius Society; as a minimum requirement the applicant is expected to have read the books The Nine Freedoms, The Twelve Blessings and have listened to lectures by Dr George King available on CDs and cassettes, including the lecture The Cosmic Plan. Attendance at some of our regular activities such as The Twelve Blessings Services and other Services is also recommended. Associate Members are required to observe a day of celebrations on July 8th, the Primary Initiation of Earth, the Holiest Day in our calendar.
- They are not eligible to earn Certificates of Merit;
- They do not receive the service and help extended to Full Members upon their demise.
