Prayer Vigil

You are warmly invited to join our 7-Day Prayer Vigil starting September 3, 2010. To record the times you wish to pray, please go to our Yahoo calendar http://calendar.yahoo.com and follow the instructions below to add your own time slot. The login address is: prayermarathon@yahoo.com and the password is: pray4peace.

In our on-going effort to generate prayer energy during the Spiritual Pushes, Members & Friends are asked to participate for 15 minutes at the following times:

7:00 – 7:15 am
8.00 – 8:15 am
12 noon – 12:15 pm
6.00 – 6:15 pm
7.00 – 7:15 pm
9.00 – 9:15 pm
11.00 – 11:15 pm

All of these times are local. (No BST/GMT needed.)

1. Go to http://calendar.yahoo.com
2. Log in with the email address and password above.
3. On the very bottom left of the page you will see an "Add event" button, click on this. This will open up a page for you to enter your time slot.
4. In the "Title" box type your name eg. Paul Nugent.
5. Leave the "Event type" box as it is.
6. Change the "Date" to the day of your first time slot.
7. In the "Time" section choose the start time and duration of your time slot.
8. In "Location" type the city and country you live in eg. Los Angeles, USA.
9. Leave all other settings as they are. (Note: if you are doing the same time slot each day you may wish to use the "repeating" option, see Note 1 below)
10. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click the "Save" button in the bottom left hand corner. If you are entering another time slot then you may click "Save and Add Another".
11. Then simply repeat steps 3 - 10 until you have added all your time slots.
12. Once you have finished make sure you click the "Sign out" link in the top left hand corner.
 
Note 1: If you are choosing the same time slot everyday then you may use the repeating option. In the "Repeating" section select the "Repeat" box and then under "End Date:" select the "Until" box and choose the last day you will be praying on. Leave the other settings as they are. Then click "Save".
